Responsible Gaming

At WinBeast (accessible at winnsbeast.uk), we recognise that gambling, when engaged in responsibly, can be an enjoyable form of entertainment. We equally recognise, however, that for a minority of players gambling can become harmful. This Responsible Gaming page sets out our commitment to player welfare, the practical tools we make available to help you stay in control, and the independent support services you can turn to if you or someone you know needs help.

Gambling is only permitted for persons aged 18 years or older. If at any point gambling stops being fun, please use the tools and resources on this page.

1. Our Commitment

1.1. Core Principles

WinBeast is committed to providing a safe, fair, and transparent gaming environment. Our responsible gaming programme is built on four foundational principles:

  • Prevention — proactive measures to reduce the risk of gambling harm before it occurs.
  • Protection — robust tools that empower players to manage their own play.
  • Support — clear signposting to independent professional help whenever it is needed.
  • Transparency — honest, straightforward communication about odds, risks, and resources.

1.2. What Responsible Gambling Means to Us

We treat responsible gambling not as a regulatory checkbox but as an integral part of how we operate. Our teams receive ongoing training in identifying indicators of potential harm, our platform is configured to apply responsible gaming checks consistently, and we maintain a standing review process to ensure our policies remain current. We will always prioritise player welfare over short-term commercial considerations.

1.3. Our Pledge to You

We pledge to:

  • Never market our services to vulnerable persons or to those who have self-excluded.
  • Respond promptly and empathetically to all responsible gaming enquiries.
  • Make all player protection tools free of charge and easily accessible within your account.
  • Never obstruct or delay the implementation of a self-exclusion or limit request.
  • Cooperate with third-party support organisations for the benefit of affected players.

2. Recognising Problem Gambling

2.1. Understanding Problem Gambling

Problem gambling (also referred to as gambling disorder) is characterised by a persistent and recurrent pattern of gambling behaviour that causes significant distress or harm to the individual, their relationships, or their financial situation. It can affect anyone regardless of age, background, or level of gaming experience, and often develops gradually.

2.2. Warning Signs — Self-Assessment Checklist

Ask yourself honestly whether any of the following statements apply to you. If you answer yes to two or more, we strongly encourage you to seek support:

  1. I spend more money on gambling than I originally planned and find it difficult to stop once I have started.
  2. I chase losses — I continue to gamble after losing in an attempt to win back what I have lost.
  3. I have borrowed money, sold possessions, or used funds reserved for essential expenses in order to gamble.
  4. I have concealed the extent of my gambling activity from family members, friends, or colleagues.
  5. Gambling has caused conflict in my personal relationships or has damaged my work or academic performance.
  6. I feel restless, anxious, irritable, or depressed when I am not gambling or when I attempt to cut back.
  7. I find myself thinking about gambling frequently — planning my next session, recalling past wins, or calculating how to obtain funds to play.
  8. I have repeatedly attempted to reduce or stop my gambling but have been unable to do so.
  9. I use gambling as a way of escaping problems, relieving stress, or managing difficult emotions.
  10. I have experienced significant financial difficulties, including debt, as a direct result of my gambling activity.

This checklist is not a clinical diagnosis. It is intended as a starting point for reflection. If you are concerned, please contact one of the organisations listed in Section 6 of this page.

3. Player Protection Tools

WinBeast provides a comprehensive suite of account management tools to help you remain in control of your gambling activity. All tools described below are available free of charge directly within your account settings or by contacting our support team at [email protected].

3.1. Deposit Limits

You may set a maximum deposit amount on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Once a limit is in place:

  • Reductions take effect immediately and without delay.
  • Increases or removals are subject to a mandatory 24-hour cooling-off period before they come into force, giving you time to reconsider.

3.2. Loss Limits

A loss limit caps the net amount you can lose over a defined period (daily, weekly, or monthly). When your loss limit is reached, further wagering from your account will be suspended until the limit period resets. As with deposit limits, reductions are immediate and increases require a 24-hour waiting period.

3.3. Wager Limits

You may set a cap on the total value of bets you place within a given period, independent of whether those bets result in a win or a loss. This tool is particularly useful for players who wish to control their overall betting volume.

3.4. Session Time Limits

A session time limit automatically logs you out of your account after a pre-set period of continuous play. You may also enable reality check notifications — periodic on-screen alerts that display the duration of your current session and a summary of your net gaming result — so that you can make an informed decision about whether to continue.

3.5. Cooling-Off Period

If you feel you need a short break from gambling but do not wish to self-exclude, you may request a cooling-off period of between 24 hours and 6 weeks. During a cooling-off period your account will be temporarily suspended and you will not be able to log in, deposit, or place bets. No promotional communications will be sent to you during this period. A cooling-off period takes effect immediately upon request and cannot be reversed before it expires.

3.6. Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion is a formal commitment by a player to refrain from gambling with WinBeast for a defined minimum period. The following terms apply:

  • Self-exclusion periods are available for a minimum of 6 months and up to a permanent exclusion with no end date.
  • Once activated, self-exclusion takes effect immediately. Your account will be closed, any bonus balance forfeited, and your details removed from all marketing lists.
  • Self-exclusion cannot be reversed until the chosen minimum period has expired, even at the player's request.
  • At the end of the exclusion period, reinstatement of your account will require you to take active steps to resume play and may be subject to additional checks. The account will not be reinstated automatically.

To request self-exclusion, please contact us at [email protected] or use the self-exclusion option within your account settings. We will process your request without delay.

3.7. Account Closure

You may request permanent closure of your WinBeast account at any time for any reason, including concerns about your gambling behaviour. Please indicate your reason for closure when contacting our support team, as this helps us apply the appropriate safeguards and ensure your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

4. Tips for Responsible Gambling

The following guidelines are designed to help you maintain a healthy relationship with gambling:

4.1. Treat Gambling as Entertainment

Approach gambling as a form of paid entertainment, not as a source of income or a way to solve financial problems. The house edge means that, over time, the operator retains a mathematical advantage. Plan in advance how much you are prepared to spend for the enjoyment of the activity and treat any losses as the cost of that entertainment.

4.2. Set a Budget Before You Play

Decide on a fixed budget before you start and use our deposit or loss limit tools to enforce it automatically. Never gamble with money allocated to rent, bills, food, or other essential expenditure.

4.3. Do Not Chase Losses

Chasing losses — increasing the size or frequency of bets in an attempt to recover funds already lost — is one of the most common pathways into problem gambling. If you reach your budget limit, stop. No gaming session is obligatory, and tomorrow is always another day.

4.4. Manage Your Time

Set a time limit for each session and use our session time limit or reality check tools to keep track. Take regular breaks, avoid gambling when tired or under emotional stress, and ensure that gambling never displaces time that should be spent on work, family, or other commitments.

4.5. Never Gamble Under the Influence

Alcohol and other substances impair judgement and lower inhibitions, significantly increasing the risk of irresponsible decisions. We recommend that you do not gamble while under the influence of alcohol, prescription medication that affects cognition, or any other substance.

4.6. Keep Gambling in Balance

Gambling should be one of many leisure activities in your life, not the dominant one. If you notice that gambling is increasingly occupying your thoughts or time at the expense of other activities you previously enjoyed, this may be an early warning sign that your relationship with gambling is changing.

4.7. Talk to Someone

If you feel that gambling is becoming a problem, talking to a friend, family member, or professional is an important first step. The organisations listed in Section 6 offer confidential, non-judgmental support and can provide guidance on the most appropriate course of action.

5. Protection of Minors

5.1. Minimum Age Requirement

All gambling activity on WinBeast is strictly limited to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. This is both a legal requirement applicable in Great Britain and a non-negotiable condition of our Terms & Conditions. Any account found to be held by or used by a person under the age of 18 will be closed immediately and any funds held therein will be returned, less any bonuses received.

5.2. Age Verification

We carry out mandatory age and identity verification checks on all account holders. You may be required to supply documentary evidence of your age and identity at any stage during your relationship with us, including at registration, on first withdrawal, or if our monitoring systems generate a concern. Until verification is complete, withdrawals and, in some cases, gameplay may be restricted. Full details are set out in our Terms & Conditions.

5.3. Advice for Parents and Guardians

If you share a device with children or young people, we recommend taking the following precautions:

  • Log out of your WinBeast account fully after every session. Do not save passwords in shared browsers.
  • Password-protect your device and ensure that children cannot access your payment details.
  • Consider installing parental control software that restricts access to gambling websites. Reputable tools include Gamban (gamban.com) and BetBlocker (betblocker.org), both of which are available free of charge in the United Kingdom.
  • If you believe a minor has accessed a gambling service through your account, contact us immediately at [email protected].

5.4. Reporting Underage Gambling

If you have reason to believe that a minor is using WinBeast — whether your own child or another person — please report this to us immediately. We treat all such reports with the utmost seriousness and will investigate and act promptly. Your report will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
